Alston and Patrick have provided us with a beautiful pergola and slate patio. They were overextended and there was a great deal of rain this spring, which turned a two-week construction project into almost a four-month one. This was out of everybody’s control so we just dealt with it. We were glad that they did not want to push doing the patio when it was too wet.

They did not cleanup the yard upon completion and left piles of dirt in the backyard.

We purchased the slate (peacock) from Floor & Decor and paid for it separately. We did not have the forethought to count the slate when the installers delivered it to our house. We purchased 740 ft.² for a 512 ft.² patio (34 ft.² of tile are left). This tile is very fragile and breaks too easily. Based on our experience, there is a 25% to 30% breakage.

Having said all of this, the pergola is EXACTLY what we wanted and the construction is sturdy. The slate was laid in a herringbone pattern which turned out beautifully. We are so happy with the planter boxes on the front corners of the pergola, which are now full of color. Since it was completed, we have enjoyed mornings outside and we have look forward to cooler weather so that we can use it for more than a couple of hours a day.

Austin you’re a lifesaver angel and all around good dude! Thank you so much for your help in getting my car which was stuck halfway in and halfway out of my garage safely out onto the street. I’d been trying to dig my way out for hours to no avail then you showed up and rectified the matter in 10 minutes or so. The kicker though is that you wouldn’t even accept any payment for solving this urgent problem for my family. Provisions are critically low because we’ve only been in our new home for a couple of weeks now and foolishly didn’t really heed the winter weather warnings so I really needed to be able to make a supply run asap. I really hope anyone considering utilizing your services sees this and gets what I’m saying. Austin took community to a whole new level today. I’m very happy you’re my neighbor. Thank you sir.

Alston and his team were a pleasure to work with! I live out of town and rely heavily on web site reviews when I need something done around my second home. Luckily I ran across Outdoor Services Group while searching for a landscaper! There was some prep work done prior to a septic field upgrade. After the plumbers finished, Alston and crew came back to make the yard beautiful again. They are true professionals! Alston was able to provide pictures and the occasional FaceTime to review the project and provide updates. Prices are very reasonable and the work was fantastic! I'm a customer for life!

My yard won't win any ribbons from Southern Living, but I'm happy with what I've got. And this crew is always helping me. My poor tree took a turn for the worse after a lightning strike caused it to lose a major limb. It was really leaning and swaying in the wind. Alston and his crew took it down today. They were professional and and friendly. And reasonably priced. I did not want to wait for it to fall and cause damage and file an insurance claim. My deductible would've been more than twice what I paid today. I highly recommend Alston and his crew.

Alston was very responsive and made a veery short notice request to look at some needed tree work. I was not able to be on-site and he provided a very thorough explanation with video to show what needed to be done as well as what he suggested not be done. His price was very competitive and he got it scheduled in a very reasonable time. His tree work and clean-up were thorough. Alston Pitts and his team are the absolute real deal! They’ve been handling my tree trimming, cutting, and mulching since 2022, and they’ve also efficiently fixed my landscape lighting multiple times. Most recently, I needed emergency prep for a home appraisal. They squeezed me into their schedule within days of calling, and the results were outstanding. Even the appraiser went out of their way to compliment how immaculate the lawn and trees looked. Fast, reliable, and top-quality work every single time!

He is very truthful, I very honest, so hard-working, and as what he says he is going to do. His work is impeccable. He he always shows up when he says that he is going to!! Alston and his crew were absolutely amazing! We had a random (or at least I thought) water intrusion problem after living in our home for 11 years. When I called him (frantic) after our house flooded a 2nd time this summer, he came and assessed the issue quickly, efficiently, and effectively. Within a week we have three new catch basins, drainage piping, and are confident we won't have any more issues! I highly recommend him and his business.

We hired Alston and his team to clean up our recently purchased property that was littered with tons of hidden trash. Not only did they do a stellar job within the budget we had, Alston was very straight forward and communicated everything very clearly every step of the way. I called and when he came out I got a quote and set a date to remove my tree. I got a call back less than an hour later and they came out same day, cut the tree down and removed it, left what I wanted of it, and cleaned the road and property behind them. Very professional and easy to work with. Will call if I need another tree dealt with.
